Difficulty settings added
Some settings to adjust the difficulty and speed of the game have been added. Note that progressing through levels faster will result in the common problem of modern RPGs in that you out level the quest content and out level zones before finishing them. However, some people simply will not have the time or patience to play at the normal progression rate, so these options have been added and may be expanded upon in the future.
Experience gain: 1x / 1.5x / 2x
Default Grid Move range: Normal / +1 hex per turn
Enemy buff: Normal / Lower. (Explanation; the mobs in the game receive a buff to base stats, which effects their hit chance, your hit chance against them, and their HP. Lowering this buff will cause the player to kill mobs faster and easier)
T10 zones in progress, 2 done
Tier 10 level 46-50 zones are still under construction. There are two completed T10 zones in the Pre-Alpha build currently being tested. T10 (and soon T11) zones take longer to complete as they have more named mobs, more loot, more legendary items, and Boss mechanics that have to be implemented.
Gear with Random Affixes added
Up until now, most gear has static stats (with the exception of Weapon damage having a range it can roll for the tier) and are farmable from specific mobs. Those items are remaining as is and more are being added for T10 zones.
However, to mix things up and add more surprises there are now RNG items in game as well. Over 400 base items have been copied, and plugged in to an affix formula to randomly assign affixes and values(based on tier) ala typical ARPGs. These RNG items are also random drops like an ARPG and can drop from Any mob. Mobs will only drop an item within their level range, so don’t expect a T10 item from a level 8 mob.
Continued UI work
Improvements to the UI continue. Side-by-side item Tooltip comparison is in game, in addition to the comparison UI menu.
Character customization: Save Templates
The ability to save and load characters in the customization screen has been added. This is not loading a saved game character but only a template from the character Creator. So if you like a character’s looks, you can save it as a template in the character creation screen, then load it later to start a new game with it.
