Devourer
The Devourer is a “Main Class” that currently can only have 1 other group member in combat with them at a time with the perma-charm spell Lust. This is because the Devourer steals abilities from all other classes in the game and can wear all armor and use all weapon types. They are powerful by themselves.
Devourers do not start out with abilities of their own except for Devour and Gluttony which both level up as the Devourer levels.
Devour is a long cooldown skill that can only be used on an enemy that is low health. It kills the enemy and steals a random ability from them that the Devourer can now use in combat and to Devour the ability later to upgrade a Sin.
Gluttony is the first Sin that Devourers receive and is the only “free” Sin. It has a % chance to steal an ability when an enemy dies. The stolen ability can be used in combat by the Devourer and to Devour the ability later to upgrade a Sin.
Starting at level 3, at every level the Devourer will be given a choice to obtain or upgrade a Sin. In order to upgrade a Sin it costs a stolen ability. For example to obtain Wrath 1 will Devour 1 random ability that has been stolen. To gain Wrath 2 will Devour Two random abilities that have been stolen. The devoured abilities during Sin upgrades are lost. Sins are permanent skills and will remain forever with the Devourer.
